A dark chocolate fudge with the flavors of coffee and almond that you’ll be craving again and again after the first taste! It’s paleo and vegan, peanut and soy free, with no refined sugar and nothing artificial added. This mocha almond fudge gives you simple and delicious ingredients with decadently rich flavor and texture!
Fudge is in the house! Again and again and again. We’re on a roll! Because dang it, at this point my entire family is addicted. But seriously, the plan was for this one to be ALL FOR ME! You see, I put coffee in it and I thought that would repel the children, however, they were not put off in the least. More fascinating contradictory little-people behavior. Or maybe anything is game when it comes to chocolate fudge? Can’t keep up with their rules.
I’m not sure if I should be happy they’re embracing a more grown-up flavor palate or just annoyed that I did not get to eat the whole batch. The dark chocolate mocha flavor did, however, successfully keep my milk-chocolate-4-lyfe-husband out of the fudge bowl, mostly, so there’s still that.
So how should I describe this fudge? Try it and then you tell me. Okay not meaning to be rude, so just kidding. This fudge is my personal favorite because I have a very limited short term memory. No, that’s not it, sorry. It’s really because it has the PERFECT texture. And all those yummy rich grown-up flavors I love. But the texture! Wow.
I am not yet skilled at 1) biting a piece of fudge attractively or 2) photographing that attractive bite in a way that actually shows you how awesome the texture is, so you’ll just have to take my word for it. (*Update – I re-photographed these with “the bite” – hope I did it justice!)
Or make it yourself. For the simple reason that this fudge is super easy to make, and aside from the cooling part, is DONE in 15 minutes. Do you have 15 minutes of time to invest in completely changing your life? Or at least to make dessert? That’s what I thought, it’s a no brainer!

Any milk-chocolate-4-lyfe people in your family?
Have you used instant coffee in recipes? I knew it had to be good for something 😉
I think your fudge photographed really well 🙂 I could swear I have a coffee kcup flavor like this! I want to make this with peanut butter. Yum.
Thanks! Yes it would make a good coffee flavor, I wonder if I could melt some in my coffee now that you mention?
Looks delicious! Now I really need to make fudge this weekend. Just need to decide which one to try first:)
Thanks! They’re both good, can’t go wrong!
I think that my mom would die over this. Her favorite ice cream flavor used to be Jamocha almond fudge from Baskin Robbins, so I feel like you have her covered! Plus, it’s her birthday, so perfect!
I worked at Friendly’s in high school and remember the vienna mocha chunk, I bet that’s really similar 🙂 Happy birthday to her again!
This sounds so good! I love the addition of coffee to anything chocolate it just brings out the flavors so much more.
Definitely adds depth, love it 🙂
i’ll gladly try it! i want to reach through my computer now. Coffee and fudge? and paleo? UM –> YEA!
Agree, I had to do this!
I remember being your children’s age and loving coffee with a lot of milk in it–that creamy, milkshake color. My children loved it too as well as mocha fudge ice cream. I think coffee is a flavor enhancer for chocolate no matter what age you are. You either like coffee or you don’t. Usually no in between. Have a GREAT weekend(know you love this humid heat lol).
My parents drank instant coffee with no sugar so I didn’t love coffee flavor until I tried the vienna mocha chunk at Friendly’s 🙂 Not loving the heat but trying not to complain, have a great weekend!
that looks delish! I might just have to make some tomorrow 🙂
Make it! You won’t regret it 🙂
Chocolate and coffee make the world go round. Pinning and putting it on my must-try list!
Yay! Hope you try it soon 🙂
I’ve just started dabbling with instant coffee in my smoothies! I like the texture it gives 🙂 And YAY for this recipe. I can’t wait to try it out. Have a fabulous weekend!!
I should try it in a post run smoothie! Now that I have a whole container I need to experiment 🙂 Have a great weekend!
Idk, but for me it is DARK chocolate for life! Just like I like my coffee, black and dark! And anytime coffee firsts with a recipes, load it in 😉 AND you need to try Pure Coffee Extract (I get it from Frontier Naturals), best extract to use and much better for flavor than actual instant coffee!
Dark chocolate for me too hands down 🙂 I should try that coffee extract, sounds great!
